Hospice week is 16th-22nd June, and Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) are joining us at Waverley Market on the 21st and 22nd June. Join them on the upper level of the mall where they’ll be raising donations for the charity and raising awareness of their Capital Sci-Fi Con, returning for its 10th year in 2026.
The CHAS “Causeplayers” will be available from 11am-3pm with collection buckets, and the photographer will be waiting to take out of this world snaps with the spaceship background.
CHAS is a children’s charity providing unwavering support for children who may die young and their families all across Scotland. CHAS are there for families at every step of the way, supporting them in life, death, and beyond, and their ambition is that nobody should have to face the death of their child alone.
